Australian researchers light the way for concentrating solar thermal

CSIRO researchers have managed to form supercritical steam using concentrating solar thermal as the source of energy.  This is a a global first and a step towards more efficient concentrating solar thermal power plants.  This story was picked up by the local newspaper and subsequently has been generating interest in concentrating solar thermal in news sites around the world.  For more information follow this link to the Newcastle Herald.  This is great news as the ASTRI researchers embark on research into breakthrough technologies to improve the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of concentrating solar thermal power plants.
